  13. You should try Riddings Tandoori, on Riddings Road in Timperley. This small takeaway has great tasting food with service to match.
They even managed to cater for my wife who is currently following a slimming world diet, the manager went through the menu advising her of the foods she can and cannot have, and what my wife now calls the slimming world versions taste as good as if not better than the normal version. Unlike most takeaways when you receive the food you open the lid and you could poor out half a cup of oil, where as here you will never get that.
    Exceptional food, great service.

  15. Boys, you seem to have been everywhere apart from the Nobin. I find this a little bit disappointing considering you are an authorite on these matters!
I have been to quite a lot of the restaurants that you have visited with mixed experiences but recently I walked into the Nobin in Hazel Grove. I noticed that they had had some refurbishment work done and as I don't agree with sittings (The Blue Nile take note) I thought I would try somewhere new.
Now the first time you go somewhere new it normally tastes ok so after an initial good experience I went back. I have been back five times and i have not had a bad curry. I have tried something new off the menu every time and I have found it equally as enjoyable.
What I like about the meal is: the balance of spices seem to be just right; there is no saturated ghee on top;there is plenty to eat and the price is good! The curry seems to have a nice after taste like a good wine and does not lie heavy afterwards.I also like that the tables are not too close together dispelling the feeling that I am sharing with someone else.
I must say I find this habit of table cramming really turns me off and is becoming an annoying problem from the newer more popular restaurants.
The only problem I now find is that the Nobin has become a pleasant distraction from my usual tour of the local curry houses.
    Christmas dinner, here I come!
