The Curry Council arrived at the recently opened Blue Nile Indian restaurant in Hazel Grove. The restaurant offers a large car park behind the restaurant and is easily assessable from the A6 (London Road).
It is clear from the modern chic interior that the restaurant has moved on since the days of the Balti Massala (the restaurant that previously occupied this site).

The menu offers a mix of both Indian and Bangledeshi cuisine. The Curry Council sampled a variety of starters, including fish tikka, Chicken Chaat and a sizzling mixed meat starter. These went down well.
The main course portion sizes were good. The Chicken Tikka Madras served was well spiced and offered a good tomato based texture that is well suited for the curry eater who appreciates a more fiery curry.
The food quality and presentation were both very good. The pilau rice, colourfully speckled with pink and green grains, arrived served in only what could be described as a 'banana shape' bowl.
The Curry Council left this modern restaurant very content and indicated that this would not be their last visit to the Blue Nile.
