Mission Statement

The CurryCouncil was formed in the early 1990s and is an independent restaurant review site and knowledge base.

The “currycouncil” consist of eight members from various backgrounds, employment and interests, but with a common interest in eating curry, having a beer or two and hopefully improving and ensuring quality in Manchester & Cheshire curry houses.

The CurryCouncil have a clear set of aims and objectives which are listed below:

(1) to arrange regular restaurant visits and to publish a fair and accurate review of the experience.

(2) to provide regular local and national news articles regarding the curry industry

(3) enable visitors to post comments and exchange opinions on their visits to restaurants

  2. All the reviews seem to be on restaurants that are based in North England.
    Have you been to the Nepalese Restaurant,The Gurkha Durbar in Grayshott,GU 26 6LD?
    Since the A3 Hindhead Tunnel was opened in July 2011,it is so much easier to get to and the food there is definitely worth it..even the Daily Telegraph recommended it.
