Kushoom Koly (Heaton Moor, Stockport) - Review Coming Soon

The currycouncil will be revisiting the Kushoom Koly in Heaton Moor, Stockport for the August 2009 curry.

This family run restaurant has been open since 1971 and boasts a long history.

The original proprietor Nasir Uddin was the head chef at one of the earliest Indian restaurants in the UK , namely the "Bombay" on Upper Brook Street (Manchester). These same recipes were used by the "Manzil" in the 1960's and then apparently then went on to produce the first tinned curry sauces in England!

The Kush was last reviewed in 2002 and appears to have changed greatly since our last visit. The restaurant now boasts a new restaurant interior and a new range of "special" dishes on the menu.
