It was by pure chance that I overheard a couple mention the 7 Spices (in the Jai Kathmandu - Northenden - another good Nepalese eatery) and that it was run by the previous Gaylord owners. Naturally I went there poste haste. The menu is very different to the Gaylord - but the food is as close as you can get to the authentic Indian taste - beats Rusholme eateries into a cocked hat. Let me confide one thing - my desperate search for an 'authentic' Indian food ended at 7Spices..The truth is that most of the so-called authentic cuisine restaurants in Rusholme area are run by Pakistanis and Bangladeshis. They cannot represent the true taste of Indian curry. The food at 7 Spices was good, nicely cooked and finely flavoured. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wishes to feel the taste of Indian cusine</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4536516902609421729/8965666892433763683/comments/default/4570172234506258884'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4536516902609421729/8965666892433763683/comments/default/4570172234506258884'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.currycouncil.com/2008/01/seven-spices-restaurant-cheadle-hulme.html?showComment=1217171612733#c4570172234506258884' title=''/><author><name>Ganesh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/12513945434082498371</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.currycouncil.com/2008/01/seven-spices-restaurant-cheadle-hulme.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4536516902609421729.post-8965666892433763683' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4536516902609421729/posts/default/8965666892433763683' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
